Virtual or In-Person Presentations

     Are you looking for an out-of-the-ordinary program for your organization or club? Do you simply have a group of individuals who are interested in a particular topic or theme, but can't find a program that isn't boring, or just a repeat of the same old thing?  We can help!

    Developed by historian and educator Kathy Wilson, Programs to Go! is a hit with libraries, museums, and other organizations across Iowa as well virtual locations around the country.  Her programs feature professional presentations on topics in women's history, general history, literature, and pop culture. Check out our titles; you'll quickly realize Programs to Go! is nothing like the history you had in school. Don't see a topic about which you'd like to learn more?  Drop us a note -- Kathy is open to creating programs on other topics that may be more suited to your group's needs.

     Each 90-minute program includes a Power Point presentation and discussion suitable for older teen and adult audiences,

Virtual Programs

     Kathy is available to present any of her programs virtually via your organization's Zoom account.  This gives the host the ability to control program access and monitor participants, allowing Kathy to focus on her presentation.  The cost for virtual programs is $150 each.

In-Person Presentations

     Kathy's programs can be adapted to a variety of settings. Don't have equipment? No worries, she brings her own laptop and projector; all you need is a space in which to host your program and a bare wall where she can show slides.

     The cost for a Programs to Go! presentation is $150 for locations within 50 miles of Marion, Iowa, or $100 plus round-trip mileage for all other locations, as well as accommodations when necessary. Please note, however, rates for custom programs may vary.  Our low fee and separate expenses are designed to encourage collaboration: when two or more locations book a program either the same or adjacent days, sharing mileage (and hotel charges, when necessary) can result in substantial savings, though $150 is our minimum charge.
