     Historical Perspectives specializes in providing high quality historical research and consulting services to individuals, small organizations, and rural communities because we believe your history is important.      We know individuals and small groups have very limited budgets, and small organizations and communities face special challenges when it comes to implementing change.  This is what sets Historical Perpsectives apart from large, national firms; we have personal experience gained working in small museums and in small communities.  We know what it's like to be a staff of one, or a board member trying to operate a facility with only a few volunteers, trying to make positive changes in our organizations.  We also live in small communities where we've dealt first-hand with local resistance to change. We know what you're up against and we're prepared to help you succeed despite the obstacles you may face.
